Tōtara Hub have been learning about Matariki this week and the macarena has proven a popular activity for learning the names of the stars in the Matariki cluster. Here is a video of the tamariki performing outside the admin block this morning. Thank you Mataya for leading us. Ka pai!

Today Mrs Norton set us a challenge to make the numbers 1-6 add up to 9 on each side of the triangle. When we could do that, we had to add the numbers so each side added to 10, then each side had to add to 11 and then to 12. There were 3 numbers on each side. It was a real challenge. We could work together and try different combinations of numbers. We felt great when we solved a problem!
