Our library committee has been busy helping get the books onto our new shelves this week. We have also got the first of our new purchases - two teepees and 3 ottomans. The teepees will make great wee reading nooks.
Wow, what an awesome day had by the children! A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers - these events are never possible without you. It was a great day for Beach Ed on Tuesday when Tōtara 25 & 27 went to South Brighton. Here are a few photos of the fun and learning. Thanks to Becs Ellis for being our official photographer on the day.
Year 3 / 4 Celebration and Shared Lunch Dear Families To celebrate the end of the school year and to acknowledge all the hard work and fun that we have had together, we will have our prize giving and choir performance followed by a shared lunch on Tuesday 19th December. The celebration will begin at 10.45am in the hall. At the conclusion we will have the shared lunch. Can you please send along a plate of food to share? To ensure we have a range of food available, we have allocated classes different foods. If your child has food allergies or alternative food requirements, please send food along that they can eat, label it and let their teacher know so we can ensure children eat their correct food. Parents and pre schoolers are welcome to stay and enjoy the lunch with your child’s class. Food can be left in the hall kitchen on the Tuesday morning. Thank you for all your support this year. Have a great festive season. Kind regards Tōtara and Kahikatea teachers. On Monday we have our 'Sport Canterbury Top Team Challenge' between 9-11 on the field.
The weather forecast is looking warm again (25 degrees). The children will need:
